How does Rent to Buy work?

This option is aimed at those people who have been black listed, Debt review or don’t have a credit history and are finding it difficult to obtain credit. The contract term is 5 years.  After year 1 and thereafter, the client may opt to purchase the vehicle outright.  Purchase values will be given up front for year 1, 2,3,4,5.

What vehicles are available?

Tavcor Motorent offers the following vehicles on Rent to Buy:

Any VW or Suzuki range of vehicle with a purchase price of R250 000 or less.

E.g. New Polo Trendline or Comfortline, Vivo 1.4 Hatch , Vivo Sedan 1.4, Suzuki Swift, Suzuki Celerio

What Documents are needed to apply?

The only documents we require from the client:

• Identity Document
• Driver’s License
• Proof of Address
• 3 months payslips
• 3 months bank statements

Are there deposits payable?

A deposit of R7500 – R20 000 is required.

Requirements

1. Nett Salary of R18 000 after deductions
2. Must be permanently employed 2 years or longer

How will insurance work?

The vehicle will be insured with Tavcor Motorents Insurance –  Guardrisk for accidents and theft. This insurance is compulsory and will be added to the monthly installment.
